This session will explore the importance of innovation and ethics and responsible innovation within responsible management education and industry practices.
This theme, mainly known as “Responsible Innovation”, has been gaining momentum and importance within academic circles and policy makers. Novel concepts, empirical studies and theoretical frameworks integrating ethics on this theme that further our knowledge and practice to provide guidance to corporate practitioners, management educators and policy makers are welcome. Works in progress and proposals for innovation ethics and responsible innovation that challenge our taken-for-granted innovation processes and established frameworks that are blind to moral consequences of innovations and practices are suitable for this session.
This session is designed for open discussion and interaction among participants to provide presenters with critical feedback on improving their respective research, publishing and teaching opportunities and practices. This will collectively enable us to further the scope and depth of this growing field of research activity.
